This volume is organized in a manner consistent with PDS Standards Reference Version 3.6, dated August 1, 2003. Subdirectories of DATA and CALIB have names of the form DYYYY_DDD where YYYY_DDD is the year and day of year on which the data in the directory was observed. The files contained in these DYYYY_DDD directories have names of the form _YYYY_DDD_HH_MM[_SS].[LBL | DAT] where is one of FUV, EUV, HSP, HDAC, and which indicates which UVIS detector obtained the data. The YYYY_DDD_HH_MM... is the approximate date/time at which the observation contained in the file started. The following is an example file name: FUV2000_278_14_04.DAT ================================================================= DISC FORMAT ================================================================= This disc has been formatted so that a variety of computer systems (e.g. IBM PC, Macintosh, Sun, VAX) may access the data. Specifically, the disc is formatted according to the UDF-Bridge DVD format standard which provides ISO 9660 level 2 standard compatibility. For further information, refer to the ISO 9660 Standard Document: RF# ISO 9660-1988, 15 April 1988. Specific to the ISO 9660 level 2 standard, filenames on this CD conform to the "27.3" file naming convention i.e., 1. The file name portion may be up to 29 characters long; or 2. The extension may be up to 29 characters long, 3. In no case, however, may the total file name length, including the "." exceed 31 characters. ================================================================= PEER REVIEW ================================================================= This volume has completed a peer review by the PDS.
