APPENDIX E - ARCHIVED DATA

The ISS Calibration Data Electronic Files are archived as follows :

Optical Disk - Image data files, as well as telemetry files, were stored on optical disks throughout all phases of camera testing. The optical disks will be retained at JPL through the Cassini Distributed Operations Interface (DOI) Element .

CD ROM - A scrubbed set of data, including all data used for calibration analyses, as well as the products from the calibration analyses, will be stored on CD ROM. One complete set of the CDs will be issued to each of the following : the Cassini Imaging Science Subsystem Science Team (C. Porco), JPL's Planetary Data Systems (PDS), and JPL's Cassini Distributed Operations Interface (DOI) Element. Appendix E1 describes the CD ROM directory structure, image file compressed formats and naming conventions, image file organization, PDS labels, and the image index file. Appendices E2 - E5 catalogue the CD ROMs.

Web Page Link - Appendix E6 lists all calibration data electronic files (or sets of files), and provides direct download capabilities from the password-protected web page. The data sets have been tape archived (tarred) and compressed (where necessary).
