This image, taken in the clean room at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Southern California, shows the Radar Imager for Mars' Subsurface Experiment (RIMFAX) electronic's box after it has been inserted into the Perseverance rover. The gold-plated electronics box is at the top of the opening. RIMFAX's antenna will be mounted on the bottom rear of the rover.
NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Southern California built and will manage operations of the Mars 2020 Perseverance rover for NASA.
