In this video clip, engineers from NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory test and 'flex' Curiosity's robotic arm and tools. The video shows the arm in the stowed and upright positions and rotating its tools.

This image was taken at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory, Pasadena, Calif., which manages the Mars Science Laboratory Project for the NASA Science Mission Directorate, Washington. JPL is a division of the California Institute of Technology.
